Arken Optics EP8 1–8×28 FFP LPVO – 34mm

The Arken Optics EP8 1–8×28 is a high-performance LPVO (Low Power Variable Optic) riflescope designed for situations where quick response at close range and accurate targeting at longer distances are required. It combines the speed of red dot and holographic sights with multiple magnification, making it an excellent choice for tactical use and competitive shooting.

True 1x magnification, a wide field of view and a slim bezel make the EP8 extremely fast to use in tight spaces. A quick movement of the magnification lever to the 8x position instantly extends the effective shooting distance.

Optical performance and field of view

The EP8 offers an exceptionally wide field of view for improved situational awareness and target tracking. At 1× magnification, the field of view is up to 40.4 meters at a distance of 91.44 meters, and at 8× magnification, it is 6.91 meters at the same distance.

The 28 mm lens offers good light transmission, and the 34 mm body tube increases structural rigidity and adjustment range without additional weight.

KLBOX BDC grid

For quick distance estimation

The EP8 is equipped with a KLBOX BDC (Known Length Box) reticle , which is specially designed for stressful and dynamic situations. The reticle frames are based on the known size of the target, such as shoulder width and upper body height, allowing for quick distance estimation without separate calculations.

The target is framed within a suitable KL box, allowing the distance and aiming point to be immediately apparent. This speeds up decision-making and improves the probability of hitting at different distances.

First Focal Plane structure

Because the reticle is located in the first focal plane (FFP) , its proportions remain correct at all magnifications. At low magnification, the reticle remains unobtrusive and fast, and at high magnification, it is clear and easy to read.

The illuminated red center dot improves visibility in low light and fast-paced situations.

Adjustments and structure

The elevation and windage turrets provide clear and precise clicks. The adjustment range is wide, and the ¼ MOA adjustments allow for precise fine-tuning in different shooting situations.

The durable construction, compact size, and moderate weight make the EP8 a reliable companion even in tough use without making the weapon heavy or clumsy.

The scope can also be used with night vision devices, thanks to the NV mode.
