Holsters are designed for a variety of uses, ranging from everyday CCW carry and training to demanding duty use and competitive shooting. Our selection includes IWB and OWB holsters, Level 1–3 retention levels, and duty holsters and accessories from well-known manufacturers Alien Gear Holsters and Wilder Tactical.

IWB, OWB, and CCW holsters

An IWB holster (Inside the Waistband) is intended for carry inside the waistband and specifically for concealed carry, or CCW use. A low-profile IWB holster is well-suited for EDC, or everyday carry, where comfort, adjustability, and maximum concealment are important.

An OWB holster (Outside the Waistband) attaches to the outside of the belt and often offers a quick draw and easy access to the pistol. OWB holsters are suitable for range training, competitive shooting, open carry, and situations where good accessibility of the holster is important.

The Alien Gear PHOTON is a versatile Level 1 retention holster that can be configured for both IWB and OWB use. Adjustable cant and height, as well as the availability of optics-ready and light-bearing models, make it a versatile choice for CCW, training, and other everyday use.

Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 holsters

The retention level of a holster refers to how many mechanisms lock the pistol into the holster. Level 1 holsters are generally lightweight and quick to use, whereas Level 2 and Level 3 duty holsters offer active locking mechanisms for situations where the risk of the pistol falling out or being unauthorizedly seized is higher. Level 2 holsters contain one active lock, while Level 3 adds a second locking point to the system.

A Level 3 duty holster is specifically intended for professional use where secure retention of the pistol is essential. The Alien Gear RAPID FORCE Level III is an OWB duty holster designed for law enforcement, military use, and security professionals. The holster features three separate retention mechanisms and various mounting and carry solutions.

Holsters for IPSC and SRA shooting

The choice of the right holster also depends on the shooting discipline and competition rules. In IPSC and SRA shooting, the holster must be compatible with the pistol used, the gear, and the rules of the specific competition. OWB holsters are a practical option in many competitive environments due to their quick and repeatable draw.

Rapid Force Level 3 holsters are also excellent for SRA and Brutality competition, firearms training, and demanding reservist training.

Duty holsters for authorities and trainers

Rapid Force duty holsters are designed for active use where secure locking, quick draw, and durable mounting are essential. Level 2 and Level 3 holsters are suitable for, for example, law enforcement, guarding, and security sector use. They are also excellent for SRA and Brutality-type training and competition, as well as demanding firearms training and reservist training where safe weapon handling and functional equipment are key.

The Alien Gear RAPID FORCE product family includes options for duty belts, mid-ride and drop-leg solutions, as well as MOLLE mounting. Many models are also compatible with full-size red dot sights and pistol lights.
