The Arken Optics EP-8 1-8x28 FFP KLGRID is a versatile LPVO riflescope combining a true 1x magnification, up to 8x magnification, First Focal Plane (FFP) reticle, and a MIL-based KLGRID reticle. The new KLGRID reticle of the EP-8 is a MIL-based Christmas tree style reticle that allows for elevation and windage corrections directly via the reticle, without continuous turret adjustments. The reticle features 0.5 MIL divisions and a 0.12 MIL floating center dot, providing a precise aiming point and clear references for various shooting distances.

J-ED glass

High-quality Japanese Extra-Low Dispersion fluoride glass reduces chromatic aberration and produces sharp, high-contrast, and clear images across the entire magnification range.

MIL / MRAD reticle for quick corrections

The KLGRID is an excellent choice for shooters who want to use MIL/MRAD-based shooting data and make holdover and windage corrections quickly without needing to adjust the turrets between each shot.

The extensive holdover reticle offers multiple reference points for elevation and wind compensation. Thanks to the FFP design, the reticle's proportions remain accurate across the entire 1–8x magnification range, allowing MIL measurements to be utilized at various magnifications.

1–8x FFP – versatile magnification range

The 1x magnification offers a fast and wide sight picture for close distances, while the 8x magnification allows for more precise aiming and observation of smaller targets at longer distances.

In the First Focal Plane design, the reticle magnifies and shrinks as the magnification is changed. This ensures that all reticle proportions, MIL divisions, and holdover points remain accurate at all magnification settings.

Illuminated KLGRID reticle

Red illumination improves the visibility of the center dot and reticle in low light conditions. The EP-8 also features NV1 and NV2 night vision modes, allowing the scope to be used with compatible night vision devices.

34 mm main tube

The EP-8 uses a 34 mm main tube, which, in addition to structural durability, offers a wide range of adjustment. The elevation and windage adjustment range in the KLGRID version is 30 MRAD, and adjustments are made with 0.1 MRAD clicks.

Water and dustproof

The IP67 rating provides complete protection against dust and temporary immersion in water.

Recoil resistance

The EP-8 has been tested and rated to withstand recoil up to .50 BMG caliber, demonstrating the high durability of the scope's construction and optical components even in very heavy use.
